Teens have a special place at our Clubs. Annual membership for teens is FREE, and our Clubs offer a range of programs designed especially for teen Club members.

 

Teens are welcome to stop by our Buena Vista or Salida Club to take a tour, meet our great staff and learn how to become a member.

 

Teen Night! Extended hours for teens on the first and third Thursday of each month at the Salida Club in a space designed exclusively for teens. Members from both Clubs are welcome for team building, challenges, and pizza! Teen Night ends at 8:00 p.m.

Peer Leaders—Teens ages 13-18 can work for the Club in a volunteer role, assisting younger members, mentoring, offering homework help, and helping with programming and at the front desk.

Teen ONLY Field Trips—Special outdoor adventures and trips to area colleges.

​

Middle School & High School Youth of the Year—This recognition program is the cornerstone of Boys & Girls Clubs’ character and leadership initiatives. Teens compete for our Clubs’ Youth of the Year title with the chance to compete for Colorado Youth of the Year.

Social Action Projects—Teens create and execute projects that improve their Club and community.

​

Torch Club & Keystone Club—A leadership program designed to help teens guide their Club and community through transformative change.
