ABOUT:

The Salida Club welcomes children and teens between the ages of 6 and 18.

 

We provide a safe place to learn and grow, all while having fun.  It's the place where great futures are started each and every day.

 

After-School Program hours

Monday-Thursday: 3:30-6:30 p.m

First and Third Thursday of the month, teens-only extended hours: till 8 p.m. 

No-School Fridays: 8:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m.

Summer and holiday hours

School holidays, New Year's week, spring break, summer: 8:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m.

 

The Salida Club offers After-School and Summer programs led by professionally trained staff. Programs such as Power Hour (homework help), Fiber Arts, the Social Action Project, Arduino (electronics platform for interactive projects), and Spark Fitness inspire and enable kids to realize their full potential. Club participants have recreated a life-sized woolly mammoth, learned to fly drones, played pickleball and entered the Boys & Girls Clubs’ National Fine Arts Exhibit. In 2020 we purchased a commercial building on Palmer Street and redesigned the space for our kids. Our Salida Club has a gym with a climbing wall, teen center, art room, library, computing center, learning center, commercial kitchen, performance area, music room, and a large playground.
