Welcome to our new Executive Director, Brett Haydin!
Brett Haydin comes to the Boys and Girls Club of Chaffee County with over 10 years of professional experience working with youth at such organizations as the YMCA, Boys & Girls Club, and the Town of Parker. Most relevant to his new position with Chaffee County was his experience as the Center Director for BGC of Sheboygan County in Sheboygan, Wisconsin, where he learned firsthand the profound impact the organization can have on youth.
Brett was born and raised in Wisconsin, but fell in love with the mountains after working in a mountain community after high school. Brett holds a BA in Education with emphasis in Youth Leadership from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Brett is married to Shannon Haydin, the new Buena Vista planner. They have one daughter, Lauren, and a son on the way, due in August. In his free time, Brett enjoys snowboarding, backpacking, mountain biking and whitewater sports. He is also a volunteer with the Colorado Fourteeners Initiative as a Peak Steward and community outreach spokesperson. Brett is excited to continue the standard of excellence the Boys & Girls Clubs of Chaffee County has come to expect.

OUR CORE PROMISE
TO AMERICA'S YOUTH:
To provide a safe, positive place and have a significant impact on their lives.
TO THE NATION:
To uphold high ethical standards in all areas, especially in overseeing our finances, reporting data on membership and community outreach, being good stewards of the donor dollar and representing ourselves to the public.
VISION FOR OUR SECOND CENTURY
We envision a future in which the Boys & Girls Club Movement is a catalyst for an age in which success is within reach of every child, and whole generations of children are inspired to a level of civic engagement not seen since the founding of our nation.
MISSION

YOUTH DEVELOPMENT OUTCOMES

More than an after-school hangout, the Clubs are places where young people come to develop character, to learn, do homework, develop social skills, express themselves creatively, and participate in sports, recreation and leisure activities.
